Two week long winter festival with snowgolf, snowvolleyball, Professional Ice Carving Competition and demonstrations, and parties!

Smuggs Ice Bash, Smugglers' Notch Resort, Third Weekend in January
Ice cimbing weekend, including clinics, demos, competitions and fun.

Winterfest, Smugglers' Notch Resort & Jeffersonville, Last Saturday in January
A celebration of winter at the resort and in the community.

February

Northern Vermont Snowshoe Race and Family Snowshoe Festival, Smugglers' Notch Resort, Second Weekend in February
Saturday - Atlas Snowshoe Company, Tubbs Snowshoes, and Marmot present the inaugural Smugglers' Notch Snowshoe Festival. Bring the whole family while we celebrate Winter in Vermont with a weekend of snowshoeing, snowshoe obstacle course, scavenger hunt, games and more. This event is open to all levels and all ages, with free demos and trials as well as guided tours.
Sunday - 16th Annual Northern Vermont Snowshoe race, which includes a 1/2K kids' race and a 4K fun run/walk and an 8K race. Call the Smuggs Nordic Center directly to preregister at 802-644-1173.

Wine & Chocolate Weekend, Boyden Valley Winery, Second Weekend in February
Boyden Valley Winery & Spirits will be showcasing the fun and romance of decadent chocolate and wine during the Vermont Grape and Wine Council's Annual Wine & Chocolate weekend. Celebrate your Valentine's Day with all of the best things:
* FREE Wine & Chocolate Pairing
* Valentine's Themed Cocktail Tasting
* Snowflake Chocolates will be onsite for samples and sales!
* STiR Chocolates will be onsite for samples and sales!
* One stop shopping with wine, chocolate, & roses in a beautiful package

Daytime events take place from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. The winery is located at the intersection of Routes 15 and 104 in Cambridge.

Stowe Derby, Stowe, Last Saturday in February
Ski race from the top of the Toll Road to the Village of Stowe (10 miles). First begun on a challenge in 1945.
